Plot

A very honest biopic, telling the story of Dian Fossey, the woman who gave her life to study and protect the African mountain gorillas. Sigourney Weaver narrowly missed an Oscar for her superb portrayal of this brave and determined, if at times unlikeable, woman and the dangerous tactics that killed her. All that's missing is a face-off between Fossey and Jane Goodall as they do battle, tactically using their respective primate armies to ensure their bloody victory as Queen of the Jungle. Oh well...
