Plot

An epic adventure set in Lapland a thousand years ago. Violent armed raiders from the south, the so-called "tjuder", roam in northern Scandanavia. Having wiped out one Lapp community they force a surviving teenage boy to be there 'pathfinder' and take them to another Lapp settlement. This film tells the legend of that boy and is both a stunning indictment of human violence and a marvellous historical drama set in the Arctic ice. Watch it.
