Plot

A cult of street cats called the Jellicles must decide select which of their members is the most worthy of a balloon ride to 'the Heaviside Layer' (aka reincarnation). Director Tom Hooper commits many of the same sins of his film version of 'Les Miserables' with good singers over-acting and good actors under-singing. Some wonderful performances cancelled out by some lacklustre ones. The kids might like it though.
