Plot

Claire Bennett is a victim of chronic pain who often has to resort to illegal measures to get the pills she needs to relieve her symptoms. As she struggles to deal with her own issues, pushing away the people who are trying to help her in the process, she becomes intrigued by the suicide of Nina Collins, a member of her support group and decides to get in touch with the woman's widowed husband, Roy. While developing a bond with Roy, Claire starts to make discoveries about both Nina and herself. A very bitter sweet drama, run through with dark humour.
