Plot

Emil Kovac is a former Serbian ‘death squad’ soldier obsessed with hunting down his nemesis, Colonel Benjamin Ford, a US soldier who was part of an American armed incursion into Yugoslavia. Ford has now retired and lives a reclusive lifestyle in the Appalachian Mountains. What ensues is a deadly game of cat and mouse between to embittered old war dogs. In a word...awful; though Travolta’s ability to take a dollop of European accents, flavour with a selection of North African accents and from that pull off blemish less English language Serb is, I guess, why he’s paid so handsomely.
