Plot
After unsuccessfully venturing into different forms with his previous two films, Brian De Palma returns to what he knows best with this steamy psychological thriller centring on up-and-coming advertising executive Isabelle and her sexually-charged conflicts with assertive co-worker Christine. Whether one chooses to go along with its gaudy excesses will largely depend on your pre-formed opinions of the director's prior work: for fans, it will be a deliriously enjoyable high-trash meta-cinematic romp; sceptics, though, are likely tofind little to sway them inits favour.
