Merida is the wayward tomboy daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor. Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom and in the process unleashes a beastly curse. Only her ingenuity, heart and mischievous triplet brothers can reverse the damage done and allow her the freedom she craves. ‘Brave’ is a light and enjoyable mishmash of fairytale and legend. A good few rungs further down the accomplishment ladder than ‘Pixar’s’ groundbreaking Toy Story trilogy, but the hair, oh the hair!
