4. Luther deals with a deranged man on a murdering spree, placing his personal problems aside to work out what is driving the murderer to commit the crimes. Unfortunately his past comes back to haunt him at the worst possible time. 5. A wealthy couple are robbed and the wife is taken hostage for a ransom. But all is not what it seems—corruption, greed and Luther's personal life become fatefully entangled when Ian Reed is exposed as part of the corruption. 6. Luther, framed for Zoe's murder, chooses to run from the police until he can prove his innocence. He plots to take revenge on Ian Reed with the assistance of Alice and Mark.
