Kim Matthews used to be a champion skateboarder, but after a family tragedy she finds herself stuck in a dead end job trying to support her loving but useless dad. An opportunity arises when Kim gets a job working at an exclusive resort in the Alps as a chalet girl; but while the world of the caviar and champagne quaffing super rich proves difficult to grasp, she discovers the joys of snow boarding....and a very unlikely love interest. The odd bit of sharp dialogue can’t disguise the painfully generic nature of this romantic comedy and while some of the characters are likeable, I’m hard pushed to remember a film with less chemistry between the two leads than this little puppy.
