The story? Do I really have to try and explain a story that no one in the production, least of all the writers, seems that sure of? This franchise has become the equivalent of simply letting a Pit Bull off the leash; point Johnny Depp in the right direction, unhook him and film what happens. There are mermaids, chalices of eternal youth, pirates galore, Penelope Cruz as the feisty female and, for a film without much plot.....a two and half hour running time...woohoo!
