Raised by her father, an ex-secret agent, in the wilds of Finland, young teenager Hanna’s upbringing has been a relentless procession of training and study; multi lingual and lethal, dad has created in her daughter the near perfect assassin. Finally allowed free of her snowy confines Hanna finds she is on a mission, hounded by ruthless killers and painfully naive in the real world. What our heroine is about to experience is the steepest learning curve that has ever been asked from a teenager....ever. From the director of ‘Attonement’, ‘Hanna’ is a super slick action thriller, that it doesn’t quite work is that none of the characters ever pop out from 2 dimensional too 3 dimensional, despite the quality of the cast....but it is good fun.
