The story centers on a year in the life of three men trying to survive a round of corporate downsizing at a major company - and how that affects them, their families, and their communities. When the GTX Corporation cuts jobs to improve the company's balance sheet during the 2010 recession, thousands of employees take the hit, forcing them to adapt to profound changes to their lifestyle. Glengarry Glen Ross it aint; nor even Up In The Air, both of which dealt with similar issues of the effect unemployment has on self-worth. But it's watchable and and humane, if a little bit too 'learny'.
