Plot

A heroic crusader and his best mate and comrade return home after decades of fierce fighting in the Crusades to find their country destroyed by the Plague. Believing a witch to be responsible for the devastation, they are commanded by the church Cardinal to transport the accused girl to a remote monastery where monks will perform an ancient ritual to rid the land of her curse. But while the two world weary knights feel a growing empathy for the young girl there is an evil lurking that may well prove to be beyond even their considerable skills. A hack and slash period actioner that, thanks to the many quips, knows it’s as daft as, well...it is.
