In Thailand French television reporter Marie undergoes a near-death experience. In America reluctant psychic George struggles in vain, against the wishes of his manipulative brother, to cease using his powers for profit. In London tragedy strikes a young school boy who struggles to deal with his loss by attempting to contact the other side. These initially unconnected characters have a bond that will ultimately draw them together. 'Hereafter' is something of a blip in Clint Eastwood’s directorial cannon, a drawn out and incoherent story thread that takes far too long to take you nowhere of much consequence.
