Plot

The third season loosely follows the plot of the novel Club Dead in which Sookie teams up with a werewolf named Alcide in Mississippi in order to track down Bill, who has been kidnapped and is being held hostage by a vampire King. 1 "Bad Blood"; Sookie has accepted Bill's offer of marriage but he has been kidnapped. 2 "Beautifully Broken"; the Mississippi Vampire King concocts a plan to consolidate his power, Eric remembers his past, Sam tests the strength of his family bonds and Tara finds an ally in shady vampire Franklin Mott. This latest season raises the game significantly reaching new heights of sublime comedy amid the sex, drugs and violence.
