Plot

John is a middle-aged, lonely, divorced guy who gets dragged to a party by his ex-wife and best friend. After a few clumsy, drunken passes at a variety of women, John encounters Molly, an attractive single-mom who finds his social awkwardness and honesty appealing. They hit it off, and begin a tender, tentative new relationship. Unfortunately Molly's twenty something son, Cyrus, is unnervingly close to his mum and pathologically jealous, A bad sign for John’s burgeoning hopes of love. Directed by mumblecore stalwarts Jay and Mark Duplass, this is a nicely performed slow-mo indie drama, just don’t expect too many laughs
