Jonah Hex is a brutalised and brutal survivor of the American Civil War. Seething with revenge, but stubbornly following his own rigorous moral code, Hex makes his living as an almost unkillable bounty hunter. Adapted from a DC comic, this supernatural tinged Western is not entirely effective despite the more than capable cast. Entertaining enough, but don’t expect any more big screen adventures for Jonah anytime soon.
