'The Brothers Bloom' are the best conmen in the world, swindling millionaires with immensely complex and labyrinth scenarios, but the younger Bloom has become disillusioned by the game and it is with difficulty that his brother persuades him to take on one last continent hoping con, with a naive and lonely heiress as the mark. 'The Brothers Bloom' is a beautifully shot, knowingly contrived and idiosyncratic adventure, and while flawed it’s still a gloriously refreshing slice of escapism.
