This award winning series revolves round the weekly therapy sessions of psychiatrist Paul and five of his patients. Each disc represents one week's sessions; with Laura, who is in love with Paul, Alex, a traumatized fighter pilot, Sophie, a suicidal teenage gymnast, Amy and Jake, who are in couples' therapy, and last, but not least, Paul's sessions with his own therapist Gina.
