A young non-political writer is hired to finish ghostwriting the memoirs of a pro-American recent UK premier. Before long he finds himself uncovering some unsavoury/interesting things about Blair's (sorry Lang's) past, especially some dodgy connections from his Cambridge days. A top notch conspiracy spy thriller, set on a bleak Martha's Vineyard coastline, replete with homages to Hitchcock.
