An emotionally traumatised US Marshall and newly assigned partner are assigned to 'Shutter Island' to investigate the 'disappearance' of a mental patient from the secure wing of the hospital there... and there's more to come in this bizarre over-the-top act of kitsch. There's lots of style, if a little more than substance, and 'Shutter Island' is never less than highly entertaining.
