Plot

Bostonian Anna wants to be in the Emerald Island with her beau on February 29th in order to entrap him with a bit of Irish folklore. Instead she ends up stuck with a surly bartender named Declan deep in the countryside surrounded by beaming bucolic idiots and Leprechauns. In due course, when not stepping in cow poo, Anna falls in love with the taciturn Declan whilst meandering along winding country lanes. How very, very sweet. Easy to watch chick flick fodder that presses all the right buttons and hardly misses a cliche. (NB I was lying about the Leprechauns - there are none in this movie).
