17-year-old Percy lives a fairly routine life until he discovers that he's the result of a quick fling between the Greek god Poseidon and his rather dowdy mum. The next thing you know Percy's off on madcap adventures finding a number of hidden objects dotted across North America in order to avert a political crisis on Mt Olympus and deliver aforementioned mum from eternal damnation. Welcome to 'Harry Potter meets Twilight' territory, with a healthy dash of Greek mythology, in this hugely entertaining fantasy adventure flick.
