Plot

One brother, a soldier, is happily married, lives a stable life while the other is a drifter. When Sam is reported missing in Afghanistan it is assumed he is dead and Tommy, fresh out of prison, gradually assumes his place. When Sam eventually returns both he and his troubled family have to cope with the massive damage done to his psyche there by his war experiences. A solid re-make of Susanne Bier's 'Brodre'.
