A garrulous Senegalese taxi-driver living in North Carolina takes a world weary old man on a trip to a famous view point. When the old man asks to be left there the cabbie assumes his intentions are suicidal and decides to rescue him from his fate. As the two men get to know the other each is on a learning curve in this marvelous character study movie.
