Thirty-something couple Burt and Verona discover they are expecting a child and begin to freak out about their abilities and resources to raise it. Moving from one set of friends/family to another they, somewhat annoyingly, discover they are strong enough to build their own model of 'a family'. Written by husband and wife duo Dave Eggers and Vendela Vida, and directed by Sam Mendes, 'Away We Go' is a 'Garden State'-esque American Indie that will appeal to some and wildly annoy others.
