Plot

A small time thief is shot dead, an unfortunate passer by critically wounded and a Congressman's assistant falls to her death on the subway - seemingly unrelated events, but dogged journo Cal smells a conspiracy and, with his past connections to the politician in question, he starts sniffing around, eventually uncovering a world of plots, assassinations and political intrigue.
