Set amongst a group of good looking Baltimore thirty-somethings, this drama (for it has pitifully few laughs) takes a long, hard, inconsequential look at their relationships, the ones they strive for, the ones they dream of, the ones they don't understand and the ones they've become complacent about. The who's who cast raises this film above the sum of its parts, which are few, but ultimately the female characters are portayed as either foolish, ignorant, desperate or a combination of all three. That some may ultimately find happiness seems to have more to do with luck than judgement, though in fairness perhaps that describes the pursuit of love in a nutshell. ‘Inspired' by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo's best selling book.
