Following on immediately from where 'Casino Royale' left off, Bond discovers the organisation that blackmailed Vesper is considerably more labyrinthine than the western world's intelligence agencies had ever suspected. Will our pummelled, sleep deprived hero allow this revelation to give him cause for hesitation?..will he heck. Dark, brutal, relentless and positively groaning under the weight of super slick action sequences, 'Quantum of Solace' is less coherent and minimalist than Daniel Craig's first outing as the thug in a tux, but it still works impressively as a rocket fuelled actioner.
