Plot

Fresh out of high school, Zach gives up a full scholarship in the arts to look after his five-year-old nephew, sister and disabled father. Now restless and isolated, the gifted youth toils at a local diner; that is until he meets Shaun, a confident young writer. As the two hit the Californian surf and Shaun's mattress with equal enthusiasm, Zach begins to develop the courage he needs to follow his passions.
