Plot

A bad tempered, unhappy, fading Hollywood film star hears of the death of his best mate from his teen years in a small seaside town in south west England. The news takes him back to his family, glamrock, his sexual initiation, his true love and the tragedy that forced him to flee. Returning for his friend's funeral he realises the life that he lost for himself, though, you know that this life he skipped could never have worked, his character being too selfish to the core.
