Poor Penelope is afflicted by a secret family curse, she has a pig's snout for a nose and can only lose it when loved by another 'of her own kind'....... and, despite desperate attempts by her parents, it is not until Max enters her life that Penelope is genuinely drawn to someone. Sadly Max is not all that he seems and when he disappears Penelope once again feels betrayed, but this time she's going to make a stand independently of her family and escaping their clutches heads off into the big wide world. "Penelope" is a sweet natured modern romantic quirky fairytale with a pretty high profile cast.
