Plot

Alcoholic hitman Frank is sent to San Francisco to dry out after he gets pissed and screws up an important job for his Polish mob bosses. In SF he finds himself immersed in the screwed up world of Alcoholics Anonymous, starts work as an undertaker and meets sexy, spiky Laurel. The two seem destined for glory together, provided he can stay away from the bottle, but things get a bit pasty when, back in Buffalo, an Irish mob raise the stakes against Frank's former employers.
