Wimpish dork Kevin needs his bullying step-father's respect and, having been misguidedly told by his mum that his real dad was Evel Knievel's personal test rider, he decides to do this by driving his crappy moped over 15 school buses. His need to prove himself is enhanced by the return from college of his next door neighbour, and secret heartthrob, Denise. His first attempt results, naturally, in humiliating failure but the event becomes widely viewed on the internet and a local radio offers to sponsor a repeat, allowing him to buy a brand new bike, and... hey presto!
