Jess Aarons is a shy, artistic, 5th grade boy and the fastest runner in school until new girl in town, outgoing Leslie Burke, busts his speed record. The two form a friendship thru' their love of storytelling and discover that the make-believe world they creat has come to life in a secret forest near their homes. Jess and Leslie's adventures in Terabithia, where they are crowned king and queen, help them face the challenges of growing up and appreciate the simple pleasure of true friendship. Based on Katherine Paterson's award winning novel, "Bridge To Terabithia" is a deeply touching and thoughtful adaptation. Be warned, though, this is not Narnia but a deeply tragic tale, so keep the hankies at the ready.
