Plot

When Tom Reilly and his wife move back to her home town, after having a baby, all would seem sweet. Tom gets a job with his father-in-law and the young couple settle down to contented family bliss. Unfortunately for Tom his wife's ex still lives in this idyllic ‘Stepford' style backwater and there is nothing, simply nothing, that the ex won't stoop to in order to get his old flame back. 'The Ex' is a likeably undemanding comedy, helped considerably by the comic gifts of its two male leads.
