Four old Brit thespians pull out all the stops in this witty and touching perception of an old lothario reinvigorated by the presence of a naive teenager. All though physically beyond sex Maurice (O'Toole), knowing that he has one more unexpected chance, rediscovers all the charm that he had accumulated in his years as a dashing blade and lavishes it on the young girl, in the process seeing off a physically much fitter young male to win her friendship and affection. Absolutely charming.
