Chev Chelios has just run out of luck, a man of highly dubious morals his days in the LA underworld come crashing to a halt when he discovers he's been injected with a drug that results in his heart ceasing to beat. Chev's only hope, until he can find an antidote, is to keep the adrenalin thumping through his system and, to this end, he sets about becoming a one-man wrecking crew. Reminiscent of an updated 50s B-movie Crank is a remarkably twisted main stream action movie, brutal, grotesquely humourous and devoid of any moral shackles - even the ‘hero' unquestionably deserves to die. An entertaining breath of fresh air for the genre.
