Plot

Bryan Singer's homage to the original Superman movies has the pristine lycra guy arriving back on earth having taken a couple of years off to ï¿½find himself' on his old home planet. Lois Lane has been busy getting herself a new life and Lex Luther has obviously been puffing on too much of the ol' chill stick, but when SM makes his presence felt his ever hopeful nemesis kicks up a few gears. Superman Returns is an unblemished action drama, in fact it's all pretty darn good - a little darker and a good deal wittier for the next instalment and I'll be as happy a bullock in a vegan colony.
