After years of treading water in her career and redeeming herself of a troubled drug-ridden past, Tracy Heart sets a goal of owning her own business. But the return of her ex-boyfriend and the criminal intentions of her brother threaten to tear apart her dreams while, at the same time, pushing her fragile relationship with her mother to its very limits. Set in the Little Saigon district outside Sydney, 'Little Fish' is a highly intelligent and absorbing tale in which the opportunity and determination to snatch hope from the jaws of indifference is told with both tension and tenderness.
