When Dr Kate Forster finally found love she knew it wouldn't be simple, but the romance of letters she shares with architect Alex Wyler is unfathomably separated by two years. Lake House is a thoughtful and intriguing romantic drama, which though flawed is an enjoyable and relatively original example of the genre.
