Plot

Pierre Dulaine is a ballroom instructor who finds himself in the unlikely, and at first unenviable, position of being hired by an inner city school to bring some focus to the lives of its most troubled students. Not surprisingly the kids are pretty unimpressed but Pierre's genuine passion slowly wins them over and the unruly mob gradually become a dancing force to be reckoned with. The words "nothing new" can be applied to an awful lot of things these days and Take The Lead certainly isn't keen to break the mould; a predictable drama spiced up by some genuinely fine choreography.
