Plot

When a bus breaks down in the desert, the passengers decide to stage a production of Shakespeare's 'King Lear' to pass the time until they are rescued. However, animosity and jealousy catalyse an ultimately deadly scenario. The King Is Alive is a cerebral and offbeat horror movie from acclaimed Danish director Kristian Levring that faithfully adheres to the 'Dogme95' principles of film making.
