By day Ben Manibag is an exemplary student and destined for the highest rungs of whatever life he chooses, by night however Ben fills his time with petty crime, an escape from the pressure and tedium of others' expectations. 'Better Luck Tomorrow' is an intelligent and believable diatribe against the genteel façade of middle class suburbia and the contradictions inherent within it.
