Dave Spitz reports the Chicago weather on telly, indeed he is very well paid for a job that, by his own admission, isn't that difficult. Dave dreams of moving into the big time and going national hoping to take his mind off his painful divorce, his saintly dad's illness and his meagre, frustrating relationship with his troubled children. The Weatherman is a quirky comedy drama: witty and, at times, poignant.
