Psychiatrist Sam Foster takes on a colleague's patient, talented art student Henry, who announces his intention to kill himself at midnight on Saturday. As Sam pursues Henry, hoping to save him, the world around him begins to fracture and distort and Sam's mad world impinges on Henry's rational one.
