A young publishing exec is dispatched to Tuscany to wake the sleeping giant that is Weldon Parish, an American writer whose one great work, even though now twenty years old, still reverberates around the halls of noveldom. Can the young man pull Parish out of his slump, and will he, in turn, learn some of life's rich lessons?
