Plot
Deco and Naldinho have known each other since they were kids. They make their living together doing cargo jobs and petty hustling on board the Danny Boy, a motor boat they own as partners. The lads decide to give Karinna a lift on one of their runs and so develops a ménage a trios that will gradually tear the two men apart, jealousy swiftly eroding the brotherhood they once held dear. Lower City is a mesmerising debut from Sergio Machedo a powerful drama with shades of Shakespearian tragedy.
