Number 3 in the long franchise of Freddie films is set in a secure medical facility where traumatised teens with a morbid fear of sleep are counselled and doped up by sceptical adults. That is until Nancy (from the original film) joins the staff team and, with her personal experience of the supernatural fiend, uses the special powers that the teens possess in their dream lives to fight the nightmares. Gloriously over-the-top, this sequel is worth a look if not just for the pleasure of watching a young Patricia Arquette being eaten by a giant Freddie worm!
