Plot

Santiago Munez has only one dream, not just to play football, but to be one of the very best. From Mexico to America and ultimately St James' Park Santiago finally achieves his dream. Goal is a great little footy fest and while the story has little to give and the acting slightly less, the on pitch action makes a good stab at doing for football what Rocky did for boxing. Think Roy of the Rovers with live action football.
